Isn't it amazing how boring things get this time of year, especially if you don't have a decent basketball team. Such mundane topics for threads everywhere. Should I say "LSU sucks" or "tell me again how bad ya'll hate Auburn" or something to liven things up? Heck I begin to miss getting my daily flame from the likes of tirk, Marine Tiger, istl, Jean Lafitte etc. We're down to talking about when some kid (Perilous or whatever his name is)who has never even got to campus will win the Heisman. I'm just kidding around of course but geez what a boring time of year.
Women's basketball team is #1 and is exciting to go and watch. Men's basketball team is on the bubble and may make the tourney. Baseball team is off to a good early start. Plenty of fun teams to go and watch and follow right now. Wait, you're an Aubbie. Sowweeeee cuz you ain't gots a dang thing to be happy abowt rite nowz!
i rarely think to flame you outside of football season. i'll try to make a note. but yes, it is rather boring with both college and nfl seasons over. Damn, I even hated to see the pro bowl end. so i end up talking about the nfl draft since it combines a little of both worlds. gotta be exciting to see if rb goes ahead of cw and the other cw. heh still trying to find out if a team is thinking of converting thomas davis into a LB.
who here flames? since this is such a boring time, lets discuss the origin of this term "flames". i think it is a stupid term. when i think of somebody flaming, i think of something much different than posting on a chat board. Queer Eye for the Straight Guy comes to mind when I hear flame, flaming, etc. I want to start a revolution in chat boards. I want to use the term HSO instead of flames. Hot Sports Opinion. that is a better, more appropriate sports board term for opinions that buck the system or differ from your views. THINK HSO PEOPLE! with that being said.......I am truelly bored. I hate basketball except for watching TE get lambasted by everyone for his Brady HSOs (which I tend to agree with). basketball season is fun come tourney time. baseball is great, but it is too early and Nicholls St does not cut it. bashing on Auburn never really gets old, and it is fun. but since I am in a revolutionary mood I will be nice until July.......then I will unleash hell.
