Bottom line, if he goes, it was a great run, and we should have no ill towards Saban. He gave us 2 SEC championships, 1 National Championship, 5 bowls (4 New Years Day or BCS), multiple All Americans, and brought back the power of Death valley. He also has the program in a ton better shape than he found it.

If he stays, we are loaded for another run at the BCS. All that being said, I still think he is staying with us....

You are correct, on the bright side if he does geaux.
This coaching job will be much more attractive to top coaches around the country!
The future will be bright regardless of how good or bad today will seem from first word
    and first impressions.

thats been my outlook on it too.. Arren't there only three or four other coaches in the current SEC that have been arround longer than saban? With the team we have for 2005 we should deffinately be a powerhouse, regardless of the head coach. We'll still have the staff and a great board/director.
