change and scheme more, lets don't panic yet. Surely he realizes LSU isn't paying him to squeak by? I mean Ray Charles can see this right? Comments?

I doubt they go back and say wow we did great lets sit on this win.

Good points. The coaching staff, among themselves, should treat this as a loss. Props to the players for hanging in and getting the job done. They stuck together. Miles should be chewing some ass on the plane ride home.

I am GLAD this happened NOW instead of in SEC play. lets look at this as an oppurtunity which is how Pelini should look at it. he should look at it to REALLY change some things. I am glad we have two weeks to fix it instead of one. Better to happen now than against FLorida at home.
    Study and improve.

It's going to be very painful for the coaching staff to break down the film of the defense in this game. The defensive talent is there and we will find out real soon if Pellini can coach, right now I'd say the jury is still out.

There were strange, strange things going on this evening---corners giving 10-plus yard cushions to WRs...when ASU had the f*cking ball inside the LSU 30 yard line.

Also, does Pellini know what the word "blitz" means? Does he?

Exactly, either this is his style and he realizes it's wrong or he needs to really talk to the players and coach through this, get them to adjust and change the way they cover. if they treat it as a fluke, someone will watch the film and go back to this, and we'll be caught off guard again. Like florida.

we have 2 weeks to change this. hopefully he will. I can't stand the 10yd cushions. The CB's looked uncomfortable with it too.

I can't believe that we can fix this defense in two weeks....but I hope so. It was very difficult to watch and I am sure Saban was watching and wondering what the @#&* happened to his defense! It is mind boggling that so little was accomplished with so much talent....what a waste. Given his experience/resume, I sure hope there is some valid excuse for what happened tonight because if there isn't and this is what the rest of the year will look like, we are in serious trouble.

    Happy about the win nonetheless.

I take comfort in that Az St. probably had BY FAR the best passing game we will see this year.
