I dont know if anyone else watched the game, but why was Brady running and gunning with Bama. Yes everyone wants to see this because of Tack Minor, but you cant run against this Bama team. Bama is 10 deep on the depth chart and we are 7 maybe 8. It was a given that we would hang in there until our guys got tired. Thats what happened...mid second half it was over. Now I am not the smartest guy in the world, but I do know basketball. A coach should do everything in his power to get a W. Brady is pathetic. We never had a shot at winning this game. He needs to go back to last year's offense and stall the ball and look for open jumpers. Thats our only way of beating teams like Bama, and teams with depth. Brady is worthless and pathetic. We need to start a poll to give to him that shows how many fans really dont want him.
I was looking at his record at LSU and I wondered about the 99-00 season. Was that some sort of fluke being 28-6? (Or a mature class recruited before he took over?) Not going above .500 in conference except for that one year is dismal! Actually, .500 would be great for him the record is so pathetic.
I'm pretty sure that was the year that we had Stromile Swift, who was an absolute monster. Wow, that seems like such a long time ago...

don't forget Torrence Bright and Lamont Roland, both of those guards were better than what Brady has today. I think part of the problems are the people Brady recruits. I'm not talking about Bass, just some of the other question marks like Glen Davis, Garrett Temple instead of Zeno and Shane Foster. I'm not saying Glen Davis can't become better but I don't think he's good enough to be a starter right now, Its not like he's been able to hustle and play good defense much because he's had to try and play himself into shape. I just think this team isn't near as talented or as good from what I've seen last year and what I've heard about this year. 1 step backward...JMHO 1 more thing, Ronald Dupree coming off the bench. Do we anybody like that now? :nope: He's now in the NBA, no one on that bench is even close. Its recruiting issues along with the coaching. :cry:
Agree. You could also add Tyrus Thomas to that list. We know why Temple was added. I guess Brady just didn't feel like traveling that much last year. Just went right down the street to sign these.
I have supported Brady over the years and still do....but this is probably his last year....I get tired of losing a player a year for stupid reasons like transferring ( teddy gipson, koundjia, bush, shawnson johnson...anyone else?)
ive wanted brady to get his shot and he has. it looks like this may be his final season. he's been here almost 10 years now. wow, time sure has flown by. this just goes to show you how different LSU basketball and LSU football are. there is no way anyone with that record would have lasted across the street.
