http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/columns/story?columnist=katz_andy&id=2061332 little article about teams impacted by early entry and how they will be with/without those players.
I don't understand why ESPN would quote Brady on a basketball article. According to TF, he knows nothing about the sport.
Here are some possible reasons 1. He's always willing to whine to a national publication. 2. He's building-in excuses for next year "we'll just be young again next year". I about fell out of my chair on that one. 3. Other coaches are out coaching, recruiting, looking at game film, holding clinics, going to other's clinics, and learning as much as possible about the game of basketball, while Brady is calling writers to give quotes. or 4. They respect his opinion. I'm going to go with 1, 2, or 3.
I heard Brady had breakfast this morning - I can't believe he wasted time on something as ridiculous as breakfast. Other coaches are out there waiting until lunch to eat, opting to have brunch, eating pop-tarts on the go, settling for a cup of coffee, or simply phasing breakfast out of their lives completely while Brady is sitting down to a bowl of Wheaties, eggs Benedict, yogurt, a Belgian Waffle, fresh strawberries, and orange juice. Fire Brady!
We will always be young with Brady because he runs everyone off. Actually it is more of a lacking depth problem than being young. Possible starting 5. Mitchell-SR Minor-JR Davis-SO Gransberry/Lazare-JR Mitchell-FR Not terribly young. Brady will still try and play the Bass card to get at least 2 more years.
No, I almost fell out of my chair because I've heard that for the past 8 years. But, that's a good point, I guess if I would have heard anything different than that, I should have fallen out of my chair. See Tigerskin's post if you need more explanation as to what I meant.
Agree. If this is the lineup, only two underclassmen. That's not too young. The depth problem is an issue. Playing experience is another. Lazare basically has none. Will be interesting watching Tas and see where he fits in. Haven't seen Gransberry play since high school.....if he's as good as some are saying, then he has drastically improved since then.
