A reporter overheard some Brady comments about Pearl after the game. This should make for an exciting game next year at Tennessee. Full article from The Advocate Here's the article that appeared in The Tennessean
Pearl and Bradshaw became puppets for the student section and crowd. Never seen something like that where the crowd is able to dictate a coach's actions.
I thought it was hilarious when he put Bradshaw back in, though I'm not so sure Bradshaw felt the same way. But I wouldn't put that in the classless category.

Pearl said on the radio up here that he was just having some fun with the students since the game was already out of reach. I thought it was hilarious and what the crap did it hurt?
classless or not, i sure would be pissed at the reporter who was publishing my off-the-record conversation.
I think this is the true issue with this whole exchange. On a side note, would this be one of the same rags that spread all sorts of false information during football season about LSU's position on moving the game against Tennessee?
if i was the other sec coaches, i would make a note of this paper and refuse interviews with them for the rest of the season. publishing what you overhear, that should earn you less access to real interviews for a while. on a semi unrelated note, over the years i have been watching, i have always thought brady was a nice fella, especially when he talks to own players in non-game situations. i like the guy.
If Brady said "I thought it was funny", we'd be reading posts like "What? Funny? That was classless."
I didn't think it was classless either. Maybe a little crazy and funny, but not classless. I think Pearl pretty much lost it when he was T'd up with 2 minutes to go.
