Both make the list for 10 dumbest decisions to enter the draft... This guy isn't afraid to say whats on his mind...sometimes I don't agree with him, but this time I do.
i can't argue with either of those assessments. i think most LSU fans thought bass left early, he is not developmentally ready for the NBA. Hopefully he'll make a squad ride the pine the 1st couple of years and learn the ropes and work on his Off. and def game. I wish him the best!!!:thumb:
I dunno, we can discuss it all day but he's just not coming back. I mean, he was a great player and Im sure loves LSU, but I think it says a lot for LSU's program... hear me out... this article claims that LSU had a chance at the final four next year with bass, and it was obvious that LSU wanted him to stay. Now, knowing Bass's family's financial situation, if LSU extended a hand to his family... who knows... we could be seeing brandon bass playing for two more years. It's just hard, coming from a situation where you dont have much, to just put the payday off for another year. I'm proud that LSU didnt "find a way" to keep him here. Assuming he gets drafted in the second round, worst case scenario is that he gets shipped to europe to develop. He STILL gets to play basketball for a living and it's not like AA and AAA baseball... European and nbdl league players are still payed a decent salary. I say this.. the competition where ever he is going is better than that in the NCAA. If he needs a couple more years to develop at a 3 spot, or get stronger to play a 4 spot, why not get paid to do it instead of struggle and have to go to class and have other things on his mind. I also think he plays better than some of these "experts" claim and he's still got a chance to prove himself at the camps he'll be at soon... Im not sure on dates for that stuff, but give the guy some credit, sec player of the year means something...
