Possibly my favorite LSU receiver of all time.

What a thing of beauty to watch. He makes it look oh so effortless.

He'll be ranked higher than that loser Crabtree next year and that's a good thing.

He's a good one and I agree he makes it look effortless but he is not as sure handed as some. Lot's of good receivers out there right now as well.

And I was a big fan of Josh Reed. He had great hands and an uncanny way of getting open every time.

Yeah, I was thinking that same thing when I was reviewing our highlights for this season. At the end of last season, hearing that Lafell was coming back to LSU for this season was one of the best pieces of news I've ever heard.

Funny thing is, back when Lafell was a sophomore, and he was dropping all those passes, I didn't even believe the guy had ever even played WR before he arrived at LSU.

And now he is possibly my favorite LSU receiver of all time, and that's saying a lot because we have had many, many, many great WRs here at LSU.

As for the draft, not sure if he'll be Top 5 (I tend to doubt it), but he will go in the 1st Round... I don't think anybody disputes that.

The bad hands issue is a thing of the past.

He's as good as anyone in college right now.

Personally, I like Lafell better than Reed because I love how big Lafell is. No offense to Reed, he was insanely physical for his size, and he broke all those SEC records. But I never thought Reed was a 1st Round draft pick... and Lafell is a 1st Round pick without a doubt.

LaFell makes it look easy out there sometimes. I think perhaps he would have broken more records at LSU if he had more consistent QB play.

    Exactly.

Reed, to his credit, overcame a lot to make it as far as he did. He wasn't even supposed to be a WR coming out of high school.

But Lafell is so prototype NFL WR, it ain't even funny.

Extra napkins are being supplied to NFL GMs to wipe off the drool.

Even better, is that even though he is THAT good at the normal elite receiver things, he will absolutely destroy the DB's with his blocks.

NFL licking their lips to get him in the league.
