THE COACHES
Les Miles is in his third season at LSU with a record of 22-4 (.846) and in his 7th season overall with a record of 50-25 (.667). The Tigers' offensive coordinator is Gary Crowton and the defensive coordinator is Bo Pelini.

Sylvester Croom is in his 4th season at Mississippi State and overall with a record of 9-25 (.265). The Bulldogs' offensive coordinator is Woody McCorney and the defensvie coordinator is Ellis Johnson.

WHAT TO LOOK FOR WHEN LSU HAS THE BALL
Senior WR Early Doucet takes over as LSU's "go to" guy at wide receiver due to the departure of Dwayne Bowe and Craig Davis. A year ago, Doucet established himself as one of the best in the SEC, catching 59 balls for 772 yards and eight TDs. Doucet capped his junior campaign by leading the Tigers with eight catches for a career-best 115 yards in the Sugar Bowl win over Notre Dame.

I'm not kidding when I say that LSU might very well blow MSU out worse than Bama beats Western Carolina. Wouldn't surprise me at all.

yeah, i have invited to burgers on the grill and watching the game with my parents, both okla state alum. i am really torn on who to root for, even though i think it's gonna be a close game either way. do i stay with the sec and possibly get disinherited, or do i make mom and dad happy and cheer for the little dozen team?

Im excited about seeing the Tenn. vs. Cal game. Two mid ranked teams that have alot to prove. Wouldnt mind it going simular to last years game.

I am a BIG SEC fan in nonconference games - but if I were you, I would root with my parents (at least on the outside) especially since they are providing the food. Besides, you may need a babysitter sometime. :yelwink2:
