Come on, Izzy; you know this one. We've never had a problem recruiting a good QB. We've only had problems developing one. Lee, Jefferson, Mettenberger, Jennings, Harris, and Narcisse were/are all at least 4* prospects. The problem isn't on this end. I'd be more worried about getting Brennan & Narcisse and having them go nowhere, although the recent coaching change should buck that trend.

Recruiting QBs has been almost as bad as development.

True but the eyes don't distinguish between poor development and poor recruiting very well, which is why I would need different evidence to say that bad recruiting was the cause.

Indeed I have. And I've seen poor QB development. Not recruiting. Note the difference.

Dude, get off the star thing. Just cause a bitch wears a bikini it doesn't mean she's hot.

And stop lumping all those QB's together. A huge part of the Miles Mystery was him recruiting Dual threat Qb's to put in a pro style offense.

It was both bad recruiting and lack of development. Too many times we ended up losing the "hot target" and found ourselves left with a last resort (kinda like when we hired Miles to begin with). Other years we really had NO backup plan and really got phucked.

So many eff ups in recruiting I don't know where to start. Remember not getting insurance for Zach Lee, not pursuing Dak Prescott until it was too late, signing non-contributors like Stephen Rivers and Jerrard Randall and losing out on Gunner Kiel.

What about Darron Thomas, committed to us until the staff told him he would not play quarterback if he signed with us in 2008. At that time, we had a commitment from Shepard, then a junior in high school. The staff did not want to scare away one of the nation's top recruits in Shepard. Thomas signed with Oregon and started at quarterback for three seasons, throwing for more touchdowns than any other player, at that time, in school history. We got Shepard, in part cause we pitched that he could play the position, something other schools would not commit to. We know how that ended

For the 2014 class, Cameron zeroed in on three quarterbacks: DeShone Kizer, Mason Rudolph and Harris. Kizer committed to Notre Dame, Mason then committed to Oklahoma State and Harris signed with us. Kizer and Rudolph combined for over 7,000 yards and 55 touchdowns. Harris, well...

    Remember Felipe Franks?
