1. Very impressive, hope he recovers quickly.

Thinking about this week, does anyone have insight as to who might be ahead out of Johnson and Finley? Just based on their high school scouting reports, and considering our offensive line, I'm leaning towards Johnson. He seems to be the more athletic of the two (escapability), though with his size, Finley might have a better chance of standing in the pocket and delivering passes with guys hanging off him.

  2. All word is that they are even, which could just be lip service. I’m pretty sure O said definitively that they are both going to play. On hangin with Hester, they said Max Johnson got warmed up when Brennan was questionable to return against Missouri.

  3. Johnson is 6'5". That's big enough. The word is that he has some running ability and Finley doesn't' I don't know which one is the better passer.
  4. Finley is 6'6 and about 245, almost JaMarcus size. Kind of hard not to think of everyone else as not big enough by comparison.

  5. He could just hand the ball off and be a run blocker. That would get the running game going. Kinda.

  6. Just start the one that doesn't suck!

  7. Finley is huge. Wish I knew more about his skill level. Could see him effectively lowering the shoulder.
  8. They need to give him reps under center for short yardage situations (like the 1 st and goal from the 1 yard line vs. Missouri).

  9. I'm sure O will take your recommendation to heart. IconLOL.gif
