thats how i feel. check the prisons and find all those heteros participating. there's many people who end up having sex with their same gender because its more convenient and lots of other variables in the real world not determined by genetics. Some people do the same with animals because i suppose it feels good so they justify it. Its their choice. While i agree some are born this way as nature has shown us, I think its a smaller minority. the sudden boom of bi/lezbo high school chicks is genetics im sure. i guess what im saying is many choose while some dont. its not either-or and there's no way to differentiate currently. Even if there was a way its not like they will be carrying identification cards saying peter-puffer or lickety-splits.
I don't believe participating in the act & having the emotions are the same thing. For instance, prisoners generally are not emotionally & physically attracted to other men - they are just making do with what they have. So I wouldn't consider them "gay". At the same time, I think a person can be gay without ever acting on their feelings.

well, once you figure out a way to distinguish those who simply chose on convenience which then becomes an emotional/physical attraction afterwards you'll be the first. Some do it as a matter of convenience at first then end up being emotionally tied to it. it often overlaps and isnt clear maybe even to the parties involved.
There is no way you are born gay, people make that choice. think of it this way: None of us were born LSU fans, but we made that choice BASED on our feelings. like homos chose to be gay based on whatever feelings they have. and its a choice i don't really understand. It's obvious that man and woman were meant to be together, cause if everyone were gay we would have no way of reproducing and die out eventually. and i don't see how any man cannot be attracted to a beautiful girl. I don't think it's possible, and i think gay males are even attracted to females. Sometimes i think homosexuality is just a way of not conforming to what society tells you. I really don't think there is any substance in it, but thats just my opinion, you call me whatever you want, i dont' care.
