    Player with tremendous knowledge of the game ... Knows the system ... Can run and throw with equal effectiveness ... Will remind people of Matt Mauck in that he's not afraid to tuck the ball and run.

    Russell and Randall TOGEATHER can't win 2 games in a row. This season is busted. Matt Flynn should start against the Gators. I mean why not? Russ has proven that he can throw and fumble. I don't have to say anything about Randall. I love the guy but he can't get it done.

    I think Nick Saban should start Matt Flynn against the Gators. Give him a chance just like he gave Russ a chance to play.

    This season is busted? Try again. Based on last season, it is a DISSAPOINTING season so far....But calling this season busted just because we are young and have lost to two top 10 teams isn't busted....

    And also, obviously Saban sees something in Russell in practice or he wouldn't be putting him in over Flynn. Saban doesn't wear blue chip- shaded glasses when making decisions for the team...If Flynn is really that much better, then he would be starting over Russell...

    Agreed Flynn has thrown one good ball in his college experience. Yeah the one that Carter ran by the defense. I support Russell.

    Why wouldn't he have tremendous knowledge of the game? Anyone who knows anything about football will tell you that a 3and2 start is a bust. We are lucky it isn't 2 and 3. I hope Matt gets some PT against FL. I hope Randall rides the pine. I hope Russell does great.
