damn it was hot out there.

english, determan, taco and faircloth face the last 18 batters and give up 0 runs, 0 walks and no extra basehits. only 4 hits total.

defense was excellent. I'd like to use this lineup throughout regardless lefty/righty but its not gonna happen.

You'd like to leave Blake Gill out of the lineup at all times?

referrign to the left side of the defense. If he can play SS and throw Im all for it. Hollander turned two excellent dp's and jackson was phenomenal.

this will be the key to LSU's success. it kept this game from getting out of hand as had happened before many times to Lane.

gave up 4 in the first but was able to overcome it.

Gotcha. I'd slide Clay Harris over to first and have Gill play 2nd. Other than that I'd leave the lineup the same too. Sprowl just doesn't get on base enough to warrant being the lead off hitter. I like the power that Stewart potentially gives us in the lineup.

Gill needs to play first vs righties and Harris needs to stay at second, he's been great. Hebert will get the start at SS vs a righthander most likely. Smoke alwys seems to play the percentages. Sprowl will probably start as well. I like Stewart too but if he hasn't seen too many righthanders I doubt he see's one today.
