    He is the new rumor, Ohio State's second year DC. Seems like he would be a good one, maybe Miles liked what he did in the bowl game. If we get a DC to leave OSU for LSU that would be something. Maybe the guy knows they will be on probation soon.

    I just got confirmation from a source whom I very much trust saying that Snyder will be the new DC. I know people don't like to hear the words "inside sources" or similar words. But this is someone who I've come to know is very reliable and told me the Tuesday prior to the hiring that Les Miles would be the new coach. I have no reason to doubt him this time either. Take it FWIW.

    I read that he lost 6 defensive starters to the NFL before the start of this last season. Tough to overcome that, but his scoring average was top 20..just behind LSUs.

    That would be my thinking. After all, didn't Ohio State's AD resign because of the "heat" the Buckeyes were going to be taking?
