USC was put in the Rose Bowl to be beaten by Michigan, therefore, the Sugar Bowl winner (LSU) is MNC. If OU was in the Rose Bowl, they would beat Michigan and the winner of the Sugar Bowl (LSU) and OU would have to share the MNC. Don't worry Big Blue and LSU will make everything alright. Who cares if USC wins ... and they will beat Michigan The AP will still vote LSU #1 with a win over OK. No split will happen. Let 'em scream in the PAC-10 ... then let 'em get a Conference Playoff and play 12 or 13 games a year ... just like the SEC and the Big 12. USC is getting wise ... scheduling VT next year in the KO Classic ... or trying to, lol. Be careful what you wish for!
