Have heard some rumors from fans claiming Cam will go back to the NFL soon. Maybe so, perhaps he likes the NFL better than College ball. Then there is the possibilty of trying another College HC job at some point. However, his LSU contract is structured to increase from 600 K this season, to 1.3 million in 2014, then 1.5 million in 2015.

I'd be somewhat surprised if he left soon. Miles always asks for a 3 year commitment, and so far that's worked out pretty well.

The 2013 LSU Tiger's Offense is currently 4th on LSU's all-time points scored list.

    1. 2007 - 541
    2. 2011 - 500
    3. 2003 - 475
    4. 2013 - 444 (plus any bowl points)

I'm pretty sure that teams will contact him for a variety of positions, it will be interesting to see how it plays out.

Just pay him. His kid is a senior this next year at Catholic High right? Should at least be good for one more year.

I'm sure Miles knew he would only have him for a limited time. The only question was how limited. As long as Cam is here there will be interviews and rumors. Comes with the territory when a coach has the resume Cam does. Hopefully we can hang on to him for a couple more.

I don't see why Miles would hire Cameron if he didn't assure Miles he would be here for at least 3 or 4 years.

He isn't going anywhere this year unless a big head coaching gig is thrown his way. Hearing he actually prefers working with younger athletes and the family atmosphere of recruiting.

Right, and he probably did. Agree w/Pride, with Cam's kid in HS, he is not likely to go anywhere. Krag's kid is currently a back up QB, and CLM and CCCs kids are on the horizon, so they are all fully invested. Don't think anybody's going anywhere.

Glad to hear this. It would be nice to know that LSU is set for the next several years on offense. Just shore up the D!
