Most of us saw a bad Ohio State team blow out Les Miles OK State team in the Alamo Bowl and earlier in the year the Cowboys had a 35-0 lead over Texas and blew it to lose 63-35. Is anybody else worried about our defense next year?
There defensive cordinator is horrible. I think Miles is just an offensive guy. If he brings his defensive cordinator with him, ouch painful season.
My how stories grow. We had a 35-7 lead for about 45 seconds and lost 56-35. No, Coach Miles can't coach defense. He leaves it totally up to the DC. Us Cowboy fans have been calling for Bill Clay's head for 2 years. The 4-2-5 scheme is a gimmick to stop the pass. The Big XII is a 50/50 league. Our DB's shouldn't have to meet TB's at the line and be the leading tacklers. Just hope that Bill Clay is not your DC, he is great linebackers coach though. He would serve you well in that capacity.
Word is Clay may make the trip with him, or Karl Dunbar may be brought in... more than likely Muschamp is GONE.
This sucks, their goes any chance for a good defense. We should keep Muschamp if he would stay, I don't want the DC from Okie St since they have been calling for his head for 2 years. Sounds like Lou Tepper's 3-4 or whatever it was called. :dis:
Nothing is more than a rumor right now... hell Miles may come in and keep everyone... I just think he will restructure and release - Fischer, Muschamp, Williams, Searles, Moffit etc....
