1. It always seems to be this way. LSU-Florida had the best ratings of any NCAA regular season game last year. LSU is the defending champ, UGA is the favorite this season.

The primetime games for that day are tOSU-PSU and ND-Washington. :insane:

I don't get why CBS continues to put some of these great games on at 2:30 when it's obvious that everyone involved would rather them be night games.

Do they have some kind of non-compete agreement with ABC and ESPN?
  2. contractually CBS gets the first pick for the SEC games. ESPN gets 2nd pick for the night game.
  3. I think CBS had pretty good ratings when they had the 4:00 game last year so I wouldn't be surprised for them to do a few of those this year.
  4. That game just went from the game I anticipated the most, to the game I am least looking forward to. I wanted them under the lights.
  5. It's always more fun for us fans at night and it certainly can mean cooler temps, but day games are not the curse they may have once been. Our players don't seem to let it bother them, and that is most important. Besides, the last time we played Georgia in Tiger Stadium it was during the day.

    And we won.
  6. CBS probably thinks it will be an undefeated UGA whipping a 4-3 LSU team... Didn't you know that LSU is supposed to lose to UF, Auburn, and South Carolina?
  7. Plus all the TF girls will be out tailgating that day, how could that be bad???
  8. less tailgating time = curse

    :bncry:

  9. The last day game we played was against Arkansas...and we lost.
  10. did you sleep through the following Saturday when we beat Tennessee (3pm kickoff)?
