they werent dunks. dont waste your time. probably on espn.com. Id almost guarantee it. they were so weak Id prefer they called them layups.

She touched the rim on her layup which means she dunked the ball.
Maybe I'm a sexist pig who doesn't get it, but that was the most unimpressive play. Most certainly not worth 10 minutes of sportscenter coverage.

I kinda wished they had used slo-mo so i could determine if it was actually a dunk since they hyped it so much before I was expecting a windmill or a 360. guess not.

she basically finger-rolled the ball in, then grabbed the rim....

when I think of a dunk, I picture the player controlling the ball in HIS hand above the rim and throwing it downward into the basket

What is most disappointing about those "dunks" is the fact she chose to showboat against Army. Of course since ESPN idolizes Pat Summit and his team, they don't mention that.

If it were Fowles, would you consider the definition differently? Just curious.

of course i would. Im not one of these anything LSU does is great fans. that was complete bs and if it was LSU id feel embarrassed they made such hype over something non-relevant. If Fowles would do a shaq, raise the legs up attempt to pull the goal down dunk, then Id be all over it.

hell even just a normal dunk woulda impressed me. this was nothing of the sort.

espn is pathetic for continuing to sensationalize things like these so called dunks by this candance parker. she barely touched the rim. c'mon give us a real dunk sylvia! furthermore, on sunday morning, ESPN didn't open SC with the great tourney games or the world baseball classic - they gave us more naseum with TO and that little pencil neck liar rosenhaus. ESPN has lost sight of the real sports fan.
