Jon Miller, publisher of HawkeyeNation, always does a good job of game analysis.... and he doesn't always pick the Hawks.... (often to our dismay!).... a good read at the site above for those interested.

In the immortal words of Gomer Pyle (or in this case Homer Plye) Surprise, Surprise, Surprise!!! The real surpise in this rag is that he only picked the hawkeyes by 2. By the way, if you think the LSU ground game isn't as good as Minnesota's (PLEASE DON"T JUDGE THE DEFENDING NATIONAL CHAMPIONS BY THE INFERIOR TALENT IN THE "BIG CHAGRIN") the you just don't know football GEAUX TIGERS 34-6:geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux: :geaux:

In other words, he thinks LSU will win but he's too much of an Iowa homer to pick them.

He had a pretty good analysis, but ignored a lot of how much better we played in our last game. he relied on stats a little to much and I think he did a pretty good job, even though he picked Iowa and I expect LSU to win by 7.

Wow, that guy's pretty good. Hitting 87% straight up is never easy, especially when it's your favorite team.

He's right in that the emotional intangibles are kind of sketchy, which can throw this either way.

I wouldn't sleep on our receivers, though. If Randall/Russell can get the ball to them, they'll catch it and they are pretty quick, too.

Gonna be a good game, IMO. Saban wants this one pretty bad, IMO, so we'll see who quits first.
