Agreed. I think LSU as a #3 is not that unrealistic, but Tennessee as a #1 seed I think assumes that their RPI is strong enough AND they sweep the SEC tourney, and still I wouldn't put them as a 1 seed. If any SEC team does that, it'll be a 2 seed at the highest. And, yes, I do not want to play Georgetown in the second round. I'll wait for the ESPN bracketology later today. :geauxtige :bball: :champs:
Wait no longer! http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/bracketology Lists us in the same place as CBS's. EDIT: It's in the Jacksonville area, which is very very good for LSU. Also, Bucknell will not be going down without a fight.
I bet that CBS bracket isn't up to date with UT as a #1. The official NCAA RPI will be updated tomorrow and will be interesting. Warren Nolan's RPI is updated more frequently, though it does still show UT as 4 so if you just go straight from RPI, a #1 is where they'd be. I can't see it, a #2 seems right, but there is room for some shuffling after Duke & UConn.
