  2. It’s the ACC’s move now. Who will join to get them to 16 teams?
  3. Where's all this headed?o_O
  4. I suspect this is horrible news for the little guys. It appears, in the very near future, college football will consist of a few 16-team power conferences calling all the shots, leaving the rest of the smaller schools on the outside looking in. This could lead to the power conferences having their own national championship and securing all of the prominent bowl games. As usual, it's all about big money and not about the college athlete any more. The NCAA needs to remove the word college associated with anything having to do with division I football because real college football is dead. I guess it's true that money is the root of all evil!

  5. What I'm hearing in these parts is look for the big 12 to start trying to poach other pac 12 teams. Az, AZ st, Utah and Co were mentioned. I've also heard that the big 10 isn't done. Not sure what number they are at now, or what they will be once the two ca schools join but apparently they want to add even more.

If that is true then you know the SEC isn't done either. Question is who do we add?

  6. Georgia Tech, Clemson, FSU, and Miami
  7. Not bad choices, I was thinking who could we get where we don't have a TV footprint but nothing is really logical unless we go to Virginia.
  8. It's about time Kevin Warren grew a pair and did something to counter the SEC getting Texas and OU. I doubt the B1G is done. Look for Oregon and Washington to be next.

  9. A fun fact, in football Nebraska has played UCLA (13) more times than current B1G members Maryland (2), Michigan (11), Michigan State (12), Ohio State (10), and Purdue (10). They have played Rutgers (13) the same number of times and only two less than Northwestern (15) and Wisconsin (15). Bring on the Bruins!

  10. Would make sense to get to 20 then have a 10-team each Big10East and Big10West.
Supposedly y'all wanted USC and Whoregon, but USC said no.....take ucla.
Yes, because ucla has so many national championships. The Rose Bowl is antiquated, run down, and not a great facility for weekly use. The good news is, they only get about 15k for games so opposing teams can easily outnumber their fans.
