    It's finally here!

It's overall very positive, and yet there are still several things I disagree with.

Not Early Doucet!? If you click on Offensive preview, they don't give Early near enough respect. They act like he hasn't proven anything, but his numbers have been very impressive for a 3rd string WR.

"Nick Saban might have gotten the ball rolling, but it’s time to officially acknowledge that Les Miles has nudged LSU into one of the consistent elite of the elite programs, and more importantly, one with staying power.

It’s easy to forget that while Saban had one mega-year in Baton Rouge, he also had a lot of merely above-average ones, with only one double-digit win season. Miles has won 11 games in each of the last two years..."

    can't wait 'til kickoff!!!!

It is a fair preview. I am excited about the season and hopefully we will put another one of these :crystal: in our trophy case.

Good article. I'm a little concerned that they say the season will be a success if we play for the national title, as if that's the minimum it will take to consider it a success.

We win the SEC, it's a success to me. :)

Good point, in fact there was a thread on that very subject that I thought you may be interested in since you caught that. :thumb:

Could you imagine if Bama made it to the Independence Bowl again this year? Whoever they played would have a lot of fans.

I don't like this list... No Beckwith is a joke. He should be Number 4 or 5 on that list. Early Doucet should be much higher, Ali Highsmith much lower, Chevis lower, and LaFell should not be on that list.

This made my day. I am glad Les is finally getting some respect. Our season after Katrina was just unbelievable, and anyone that wasn't here has no idea what it was like.

Reading about the offense it got me to thinking....with the spread, isn't a blocking back key (I am not a football guru, I have just heard that)? If so, does that mean Hester (And to a lesser extend, Alley) will be seeing more time than last year? How are RM and KW at blocking?

Also, how is Flynn/RP at the option? I know it wasn't really JR's fault for the fumble at UF last year, but I would cringe everytime I saw him pull the ball down for a run after that, fumbles just take the wind out of ya. Even watching other teams, I am waiting for the QB to put it on the ground.
