Kyle Williams is the lone first-teamer... Is this guy really a first team all american? I hope so.. the CFN guys seem sold on him. They list Wroten as an Honorable Mention... No linebackers or DE's... Though Vaughn would at least make the "Watch List"...
I could see Kyle Williams having an All-American like year. As for the other players on defense, I would think the only other guy who maybe has a shot is Landry. Like I said in another post, this team doesn't really have one or two big-time playmakers (in the eyes of the nation, at least), but I would bet my money that as a unit, they will lead the nation in defense yet again.
Yeah, since Coach Saban was here, LSU as a whole became a TEAM with alot of talented players than a unit with a couple of great players. Most players on this team don't speak about stats but what it takes to make the team win, if you look they say it or do it all the time. This is the one thing I sure hope stays in place at LSU, the team before the player, from the players point of view. :lsup:
