    Lil more diggin'.
Big XII CG = 5 rematches (since '96)
    2 splits (Nebraska/Texas-'99 & Colorado/Texas-'01)
    3 Sweeps (Oklahoma/K.State-'00, Oklahoma/Colorado-'02, & Texas/Colorado-'05)

ACC hasn't had a remach yet in their CG.

    MAC CG= 5 rematches (since '97)
    2 splits (Marshall/W.Michigan-'00 & Miami(OH)/Toledo-'04)
    3 sweeps (Marshall/W.Michigan-'99, Miami/Bowling Green-'03, Akron/N.Illinois-'05)

15 CG rematches total between 4 conferences. Winning team in regular season is 10-5 in the rematches. A lil more lopsided than I expected.

Interesting you bring up that game in light of all the attn. Miles is getting with his comments as of late.

Remember Spurrier playing the media and the refs like a fiddle that year?

Remember it well. Weurefeulaulue(sp?) got his @$$ handed to him repeatedly in the 1st meeting. Then Spurrier cried about it. Saying it was all late hits.

It just dawned on me. Both NC's UF has won have been seasons with one loss. I wonder if they've ever had an undefeated season.

Were they undefeated under Charlie Pell when they were stripped of the SECC?

Can anyone confirm or deny my attempt at remembering if the only time we've beaten the same opponent twice in one season was '03? I remember that being part of the pre-game hype- it was either that or we hadn't done it in 50 years or something.

That regular season game was played on grass in Tallahassee and the rematch was on much faster artificial turf. And Danny W prayed a lot more. :)

Florida is going to be hyped this year no matter how much talent they lost.
It is going to be even worse because the media will be talking about a repeat
to match the one their BB team pulled off.

And the media could care less that Florida only beat Tennessee by one point, Georgia by only 7 points, and that South Carolina was one last minute field goal kick away from beating the Gators. Not to mention that they did lose to Auburn.

I'm expecting to get real tired, real fast hearing about Tebow and company.

In any case, after watching the Georgia Spring Game, I'm picking Georgia to win the SEC East.
