I have been dying for the season to start, waiting in interminable agony to see some LSU football...only to suddenly realize I am going to be in Grant, Nebraska this weekend for my wife's nephew's wedding. I'll be trapped in the middle of Husker land with no SEC fix in sight. Grrrrrrrr.........
herb, you're not lookin so good. and that's a nasty cough ya got there. probably contagious. i'm sure you would hate for the bride and groom to pick something up and get sick over their honeymoon. out of the goodness of your heart and concern for the family you might want to stay home. i mean, only thinking of them, right?
suddenly?! these things require prior notice, do they not? hell, i can't talk... i won't be at the game because of a recent occurrence. but i still have the big screen.
After three fights, 2 trips to the marriage counselor, meeting with divorce lawyer, my wife finally came to her senses and I am not attending a wedding this Saturday that starts at kickoff. It was a close call......Damn I would have missed her. :grin:
