Why punch Jimmy Clausen? I mean, he's kind of a douche but he's the only guy who's playing well. Why not punch that fat coach of yours, or someone on the defensive side of the ball. I would like to think that if our fans did stoop to this, they would at least have enough knowledge about football to punch the right guy. This is embarassing on so many levels.
Don't know how true this is. There's no police report of the incident, and I'm guessing the coach, his parents, the school, somebody would make him do one. If it DID happen though, that's a pretty horrible fan base....I HATE Notre Dame, but that kind of stuff shouldn't happen
THIS JUST IN... Clausen was punch by Weis for cutting him in the buffett line. Don't be suprised if they try to cover this up. They might downplay it by saying Weis was filled with uncontrolable rage trying to get to the mashed potatoes and accidently caught Jimmy with an elbow, but it was indeed an intended punch!
My favorite thing about Jimmy Clausen was how he showed up for his 1st day at ND. While this might have been cool in Cali, but anywhere else in the country you look like a tool. Now he sports the "Drew Brees."
