Probably really wanted the DC position here at LSU and was not offered it. Does this mean it is Campo's job to take now? Hmmmm.... Also, so much for people worrying about Miles being overly loyal to assistants. To his credit though, it looked like he showed Clay some loyalty by offerring him a new job with a different position at LSU. Clay simply was not interested apparently.
One more comment... I was never all that worried about Clay as DC here. Many people were pulling fire alarm levers in anticipation of the possibility though! A team like Oklahoma State usually will be playing it's best talent on offense and the defense is makeshift at best, when it comes to personnel and talent. His system, with the quality of personnel here, have much more opportunity to work.
Although, I was very disheartened when I heard Clay would be coming to BR, I actually warmed up a bit to the idea. Once I heard that LSU's system wasn't that much different than his (just more complicated). I think we will get a quality DC and the defense will stay intact for the most part. I do however, hope we get a quality OC or QB coach for that matter, seeing as though the rumors are that Miles will act as his own OC. I have wanted to see an All American QB at LSU and hopefully we will get someone that can teach the basics to our wealth of talent at this position.
Just wondering...Your first post was right after I put something up here on the site... Do you have any experience in hypnotherapy?
