Anyone watch any of the Clemson game Sat? Truely sadden me to hear them play "Tiger Rag" and I'm a Reb. I would much prefer hearing it at "THE Only Real" "DEATH VALLEY!!!!!!!"
In case you didn't know, the LSU band cut "Tiger Rag" from their lineup because of the cheer it has become associated with. "Ah-ha-ha-ha-ha! @$$holes! @$$holes!" They say it was for time, but they play the full two verses of the alma mater now. It really kills the vibe, and everyone either knows one or the other but not both. But yeah, Clemson... not high on my list of teams to begin with.
Whoops, my bad. My dad's ex-fiance (who he broke up with cause she hated me and wanted him to move off and start a new family- I kid you not [to this day I can't figure out what took him so long]) got her Ph. D from Clemson- I mean, the imaginary pussycats in South Carolina. This was before I knew about anything outside the SEC, but I developed a strong disliking for that school. Did I mention she did her undergrad at UFla? Yeah, 1997 was a good year.

I wish we would just set up a home and home series that repeated 4 or 5 times and the school that wins the overall series then owns, once and for all, the term Death Valley, the Tiger mascot, and the all the band songs that accompany teams that are tigers (eye of the tiger, tiger rag, etc..). Losing team chooses a new mascot, and the we never have to mention this again.
I live over here in S.Carolina and have to put up with this garbage all the time. U can trust i was making phone calls on saturday when good ole B.C. beat Clemtech. I love wearing my shirts that have pictures of the "real" death valley on them and i make sure all the clemtech are made aware where this is...I am doing my part!!
