I was in Guyana a few weeks last year and the locals would ask me if i thought Putin got Trump elected and if they were conspiring together to take over the world and other such crap. Apparently their info came from CNN. They loved it, the conspiracies, intrigue, drama. It seemed like 'National Enquirer' tabloid news. Anyway, i have a feeling the rest of the world watches CNN like a soap opera, and they make a ton of money doing what they're doing. And the US market is maybe not of critical importance to them anymore.
