    replacement?

Check out this list with some names of possibilities to replace JoeRob. I wouldn't be surprised to see someone from the league jump on board to avoid being out of work in the NFL next year. There should be some good candidates.

    Your site I assume?

UL alum Joe DeForest would be a good bet.

I gave him a hit just to be nice.

Trivia on DeForest: He was a scab for the Saints in '87, playing in the 3 replacement games during the strike and then sticking on the roster afterward when the league allowed teams to keep a few players over the normal limit to reward the scabs who did well. He was also prominently featured later in the season in an SI article about players who tried to use the replacement games to jump-start their careers. In Joe's case, it didn't work; '87 was his only year with the team. Nice to see that he's had a successful coaching career.

If up to me, every player who went on strike in 1987 would have never played another NFL game.
