Coker out after 59-15 record and 6-6 slate this year.

Top 2 Replacements rumoured to be looking good for a shot are Alvarez (Wisc) & Jimbo Fisher

Didn't Alvarez retire after last season? And Jimbo won't get a gig that big for his 1st HC position.

Yeah no way anyone promotes Jimbo to that important a position.

He can get a mid major school possibly.

Wasn't the Alvarez departure due to his health?

The AD at Miami already said they would be looking at proven HC's. Not that they wouldn't look at a good asst.

I really don't think they will go that direction.

i have heard about 20 names for this Miami job, including Saban, Tuberville, etc..., so needless to say, they will not hire a guy who has never been a HC to try to clean up the mess they have here now...

All this Miami team is lacking is Paul Crewe and a caretaker, and they could play the guards in their season opener next year.

ya there is no way Jimbo is hired to coach at the U, he is not even on the list of possible replacements. The names I heard that could coach there was the Rutgers coach, Barry Alvarez, and Petrino.

Don't be surprised to see if Jimbo interviews for it (no doubt the U will be bringing in about 8 or so) but there is NO WAY a coach with ZERO head coaching experience gets that job.

Miami is in a WORLD of hurt--and it stems from character issues. Something that a new head coach with proven success at turning around a program.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Rutger's head coach get it...or at least be a finalist.

I was worried about that. And Shula could be the next to go.
