LSU, UT, and the SEC have scheduled a conference call for this afternoon to discuss RITA. http://www.lsusports.net/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=5200&ATCLID=189956
notice in the picture in that article that the endzone paint scheme has changed? we no longer have the stretched LSU it appears......
I liked the stretched LSU, but it appears LSU is trying to incorporate their trademarked font. It looks okay, I guess I'll get used to it. So we can expect a decision about the game by this evening?
I'm thinking the same thing. I think I'll adjust quickly to this one. Just as long as we keep the eye at midfield and keep the fully painted endzones as opposed to Just the word TIGERS like we had in the Dinardo days.
I didn't mind the stretched LSU. In fact I kinda liked how it took up the whole endzone instead of just the middle. Whatever though. As long as the ball ends up in that area, I really don't care too much about what it looks like. But back to the Rita situation... If the game has to be moved, I'd say move it to Sunday night or Monday night. It would suck for many people, but there isn't another open weekend, and this game needs to be played. And it seems to me it would be easier to just move it back a night than to try to change venues at this point. That would give the Tigers a day or two less to prepare for next week, but it's Miss State, so that shouldn't be a problem. I don't think it would be fair or feasible to move the game to TN...LSU has already had to trade a home game for an away. And moving it to another venue in the region, like Shreveport or somewhere would be logistically difficult b/c of all the traffic from Texas/SW LA and the fact that many people are being moved to shelters around. The game needs to be played in Tiger Stadium. Even if it's a day late. Just my 2 cents.
