Just back to Hotlanta from the game and it was another great experience in BR. Wish the outcome of the game would've been the other way around, but I must commend Saban , staff, and team on a fine, all-around effort. The LSU D-front just dominated AU's O-line, and mistakes just killed any chance of AU staying in the game. Lavalais rules ! - what a performance, I'm sure we'll all be seing him play on Sunday's soon.

Despite the weather, it was a great tailgate. My hats off to the Krewe of Ragoo group for the fine hospitality and the great grub. What a tailgate ! It was like Southern-fried football met head-on with Mardi Gras for a few brief hours. The "Weapon of Mass Consumption" brings funnel binge-drinking to a whole 'nuther level. Another tailgate I visited was the Broussard group - it was great SEC football discussion and banter, along with more than a few Louisiana-sized cocktails. Trust me, that made it a much longer trip home today than the score did.

I also must compliment the stadium security for apprehending the annebriated LSU fan that insisted on pouring liquor on my eleven year old son because he happened to be wearing a Cadillac Williams jersey. The security staff was "on him" while the incident occurred, and for that I am thankful because I was already visualizing being led off in handcuffs for punching this knucklehead. Other than that, it was another super experience, once again.

Thanks again Tigers, and good luck the remainder of the season. I guess AU may still have a chance, but I see LSU being able to control it's own destiny now, so good luck, you'd make a fine Sugar bowl representative for the SEC.

Go Tigers and Geaux Tigers !

Thanks for the great post. So glad you had a good time and we showed you our true cajun hospitality. I am so sorry about what happened to your son and I trust that security took care of it very quickly. The game was awesome and I am looking forward to the rest of the season...

Several of the LSU fans that witnessed the incident said that the guy had been hassling a few fans earlier, so I'm guessing that maybe the security personnel may have already been observing him, because they both had hold of him by the time we even turned around. The security personnel and other fans were kind to my son, and he's old enough to understand that somebody like that has bigger problems than football issues.

In the greater scheme of thiings, we've tried to minimize the incident because we had a great "manly" trip together.

I wish I would have seen that...I would have punched in the mouth and spent the night in jail for you. It's time we good LSU fans start beating some sence into the morons

If I would have seen some drunken asshole pouring beer on a kid I would have beat the shit out of him no matter which team's colors he was wearing. I'm surprised you didn't do it yourself.

I hope those LSU fans who keep saying this stuff really don't happen at Tiger Stadium and suggest that Skip keeps his mouth shut would take their heads out of their arse ... an incident such as this is what fosters the bad image we have.

Cadillacattack, I commend you for not allowing it to ruin your trip to Tiger Stadium!

To the 99.99 % of great Tiger fans, this is what we need to stop from happening ... we need to police our own!

I'll be the first one to say that I was expecting to hear lot's of trash talk when I got down to LSU...BUT...After we arrived on Campus, Mrs. Jennie, a LSU lady, invited us over to their tail gate. I have never in my life been treated and fed like kings as I was that day. I had a great time. We felt to somewhat even show our thanks, we took her to the student union and bought her a CD and a coffee mug. Everyone was very respectful and nice. I guess, we have to realize that when you 120 thousand people in one spot pulling for their team, you will run into those bad apples here and there. I'm so glad to say, that was not the case. Thank you very much LSU fans. I and my friends had a great time....minus the game...but not even that was going to ruin the trip.
