    They weren't lying when they said this was going to be close. Great game Auburn....Hard fought win.

    It was a game that kept you on the edge of your seat but if LSU could tackle or get the ball to a wide open reciever it would have been no contest. LSU's offense made AU's defense look much better than it actually is. Look for some real SEC offenses to light them up.

    I have to concur. They did what they needed to do to win this game, just like LSU did against ORE St. a couple of weeks ago. LSU did not get the job done. What can you say? The O sucks. :dis:

    not to mention the missed tackles and wide open receivers (up the middle)

    I hate the "we're young on offense" stuff but in this instance it is the truth. Freshmen and sophomores galore at QB/receiver takes time. They played hard though. We can't win them all but our program is in great shape.

    Towards the very end of the game, LSU did a better job of wrapping up, but then they blew coverage on the TD score. Go figure.

    Otherwise, the D gave up far too much yards after initial contact. I must have yelled "tackle his ass already" 100 times today. :angry:
