I hadn't seen Arky play before today, but I was impressed with your team. The two Freshmen, Dick at QB, and McFadden, performed admirably. Nutt coached a great game, getting all he could out of his team, and surprising us with his trick plays.

Could be some bright days in the Hogs future, especially if our admin. would get off its collective butt and hire Butch Davis. Truth is, most Razorback fans agree Nutt talks a good game but just isnt up to the job.

This certainly wasn't the same team that played Usuck. Teams may not look forward to playing Arkansas the next couple of years. Dick looks like a very very good QB and McFadden is a stud.

I heard that you guys were probably passing on Butch. Dont get me wrong, I think Houston is a very good game day coach but i dont think he's the total package. Probably a mistake not hiring Butch but who knows. I wouldnt be looking forward to playing either one of theose two every year.

All accounts right now say that Nutt has a reprieve this year. There is a power struggle going on in Fayettville, though. A very large percentage of fans, and some members of the board of trustees want Nutt gone, and Davis has let it be known he is interested. There is also a report that an offer has been made to Cutcliff of around 400K to become the OC next year. Apparently TN is not happy that he has not made a decision. As for Casey Dick, he looks better and better as a quarterback. If he continues improving, Mustain may redshirt, which is what he really wants to do.

I feel that Arkansas will be much improved next year but it will be very hard for the Hogs to be in the tier with LSU, Bama, and Auburn. i think you will lose these 3 games every year over the next couple of years. All of these teams have great young talent waiting in the wings. Arkansas just does not have any veterans on the team that will keep your talent on the bench this year. The big 3 has the veteran talent on the field.
