Wait, after USC lost to Cal and OU lost to K-State, and we won the SECCG, weren't we ranked #1? USC was #2, and all the doo doo flinging started because a #3 OU went to the NC game with us over USC, right?

LSU was #5 going into the SECCG and #3 going into the Sugar Bowl.

I believe fUSC and chOke-lahoma switched between #1-#2 when UO lost their conference championship game. OU remained #1 in the BCS rankings but LSU and fUSC were #2-#3.

USC was #1, LSU was #2, and Oklahoma was #3 in both human polls before the bowl game.
