I hope Saban does well in the NFL.. He has a hell of a re-building job ahead of him.... He needs a QB, a HB, and a couple of WRs on offense for sure... As well as Rohan Davey played in NFL Europe and when he get mop-up duty with New England, I'd think he would be smart to trade for him... I think Rohan can be a starter in the NFL.... That would solve his QB problem... Then with the 2nd over-all pick in the draft take Cadillac Williams with his 1st pick...... What do you guys think...????

I would try and 'buy' Phillip Rivers off of San Diego since Drew Brees played well at the end of the season. My pick for the draft would be Ronnie Brown though, he is a more versatile back like Marshall Faulk/Edgerin James.

Add: the reason I think Chargers would get rid of Rivers is b/c he signed a huge contract for big bucks, but after the season Brees had, I think he will want a huge contract also... can't really give both the big bucks, so I think they would be looking to alleviate this salary situation.

I think you can pretty much bet the farm that that 2nd overall pick Saban has is reserved for Cedric Benson.

As for Rohan, I am almost possitive that this is the last year of his contract and he will be a free agent at the end of the season.

You are right that his play in Europe had to improve his stock. There are several teams that could step in and show interest. Arizona, San Francisco, Miami, Dallas, New Orleans, etc.

Saban is Rohan's college coach, and Rohan is from South Florida. You can put money on it that Reaux will be a fish in the next 2 years.

Rivers will be the QB of the future for SD, not Brees. So I thought that Miami may be to strike a deal to get Brees, if Rivers the prick can finally ink a deal with SD.

I think Drew Brees is a free agent after this year, so he'll likely go elsewhere, not Rivers.

There ya go. Dolphins sign Brees. Draft Benson. Receivers get healthy. Get a couple of good O-lineman in free agency. Suddenly you have you a pretty good offense.

Saban might want Davey, but why would the Pats deal him in division when there are other teams out there that would also want Ro that could potentially offer more than the Dolphins.

I don't see the Phins signing Brees, they're over the cap and Brees is going to command big $$$.
