1. My son will be in Houma Monday night, and wanted to know where to eat. I said I'd ask the authorities for a tip or two. He's looking for cajun food, going with a Savoie from over here in Tx., but they could be swayed. Prefer a family owned place. TIA.

  2. What kind of cajun food is he looking for?
What part of Houma is he going to?
  3. Good lord, it's only 14 sq. miles......32,393 people, 11,634 households, and 8,283 families residing in the city. :hihi:

Here HouT. This may help you narrow it down.

  4. He'd drive 30 minutes for something special.

What kind, hmmmm, he likes fried shrimp and oysters, either plate or poboy. But he likes it all, gumbo, etouffe, you name it.
  5. I know, that's why Ilive south of that place. I hate big cities.

Big Al's is the place to go then.
They have 2 locations, one on the East side, and one on the West. :thumb:
  6. I don't think you can go to Shanghai and not find a Big Al's something or the other.

    Big Al's noodle factory
    Big Al's dildo factory
    Big Al's ghost remediation...
  7. Who you gonna call ?:thumb:
