Our people at the plate have their heads up their azz. Texas will get 7 or 8. We need 9. Hit the *******dang ball!
Lol. But we shouldn't have kept Colemen in yesterday? Face it people, when it comes to the best of the best, LSU does not have a great pitching staff other than Coleman, Ranaudo and Ott. I'm sorry you think we have 15 Nolan Ryans on our roster, but we don't. As for Texas, they have the #2 pitching staff in the nation (behind only Ariz St).
Texas 3rd: Ryan Byrd in for LSU. - Popped out to 3B. - Homered to RF (4th of season, 3rd off LSU). - Blooper to RF. Mitchell dove and missed. Double. - Flew out to DEEP RF. Runner advanced to 3rd. - Doubled. RBI. Pitching change. Nolan Cain in. - Singled to LF. RBI. - Grounded out to 2B. Texas 5, LSU 1 - Bottom 3rd
And while I'm thinking of it again, why was it SO IMPORTANT to win the first game if you don't go ALL OUT in the second game? Game 3 is MEANINGLESS if we win the first two.... Why are we "saving" anyone for tomorrow? Some of you baseball experts please help me understand....
You went 22 straight innings without scoring a run against Boston College. Of course BC sucks so bad they couldn't take advantage. You beat Army by one run. USM hit a batter and walked three without UT even swinging the bat........... Texas had an impressive year but I don't think they've been overly impresive in post-season. You may win the title but it will come with help.
