Its down to Rice and Stanford for the CWS title. I sure hope Rice can pull it off. The only time I can ever bring myself to pull for Stanford in any sport is when they are playing Notre Dame in football.

 

Plus, if Stanford wins we might have to admit that THEY are currently College baseball's premier team. Paraphrasing Bush, Sr.: Don't wanna do it.

 

stanford only has 2 titles. and those were in 87 and 88. or have they won one recently while I was sleeping?

 

But, this is their 4th Championship game out of the last 5 years. That's pretty good.

 

Don't worry about it....Stanford doesn't stand a chance against Rice pitching...Rice will win it in 2!!!!

At least none of the players for either team will be ruled academically ineligble.

I want Rice to win. That would add them to the list of schools with more national championships than Ole Miss!
