fulmer just showed sabin how to coach (starting freshmen in 3 games) as the long FG passed through the uprights i just grit my teeth thinking what should have been.
according to some people around here, a 2 QB system doesn't work so how in the heck was Tenn able to beat Florida tonight?
good question....rep points for you. I am sure SOMEONE here will answer that for you. maybe it is because they are both freshman.....who the hell knows.
Because their QB's played great today. But really, it wasn't much of a 2 QB system. They went with Ainge pretty much the entire 2nd half because they realized they were going to win the game with a throwing QB, not a running QB........
Everyone comes up with these "we should've gotten the job done, it shouldn't of come down to this" comments, but that is bull. No matter how bad we play it isn't right that a ref gets to decide if we play OT or not.
They don't decide. It's a legit rule, it just happens to be new this year. It's unfortunate that it had to happen that way, but we did have the ball to end the game, and we did drive the ball down the field. An untimely INT that bounced off the WR's hands kept us from trying to win with a FG. In fact, you can't totally blame the WR, since the ball was thrown behind him. Either way, we had our chances and lost a close game. It happens.
