You gotta love Don Long ... his preseason predictions are out! This is a "first" for Don! http://www.dandydon.com/predictions.html
Georgia lost a center due to disciplinary problems, and its caused their offensive line-which already lacked experience-to reshuffle this spring and made some lineup changes inevitable. I believe he was a sophomore, and had already been in trouble for practicing "herbal medicine" once before. Also, I think that Florida is going to do a lot better than Tennessee next year. If you couldn't see that Leak kid growing up before your very eyes, I don't know what to tell you. The Iowa game for UF was a fluke...They'll be fighting it out, and Zook somehow seems to have Richt's number. Auburn's offensive line doesn't look to improve one iota, and they lost some defensive lineman, too. The biggest loss for them, was Karlos Dansby and their other stud linebacker. Rowell is probably ready to step in and play (a kid Saban wanted BAD, and seemed to want LSU as well), but I think that the loss of veteran leadership on their defense, coupled with yet ANOTHER new offensive coordinator, as well as the "L(as in Loss)Factor" himself, Jason Campbell, we'll see Auburn get their three wins in conference easily against the likes of Moo U, Alabama, and Ole Miss, but each of the rest of their games will be a dogfight, if they don't get run off the field. Just my $0.02...
Does the NCAA govern drug testing? Do they do it for all sports? Performance enhancing drugs AND recreational? Are the penalties enforced by the university or the NCAA? Are the penalties automatic or can it vary on a case by case basis? I've never really heard much about athletes being dismissed for drugs until the last couple of years. Has the NCAA always policed this area or is it a recent thing?
from what I have read on the AU bourds, LeMarcus Rowell has left the team and is transfering.....can any AU fans confirm this??
I thought I read last season that he was kicked off of the team. One of our AU lurkers should be able to give us the scoop. :geaux: :lsug:
Istrouma ranked 6th and 10th in 4-A wow on his 1-A picks I think Souhtern Lab is due for a good season.
yeah something happened last season. I don't know if it was a grades or what, but I do know he was practicing with the team at the beginning of spring this year. I am almost 100% that he has left between now and then for some reason.
