Defense did not lose this game

Last time I checked, it's the offense's job to score touchdowns, not the defense. Our offense just didn't get the job done for a lot of reasons, but the defense played great enough to win. So what if Auburn scores with 1:14 to go in the game. Our offense didn't do jack since the first drive. Heck, if we just score one more field goal, we win. I don't think that is too much for the defense to ask. Personally, I think we need to stick with one of those quarterbacks, create a game plan around them, and go with it. There is no offensive identity for our club. I'm sure we'll improve, but if I'm the head man, I'm scratchin' my head, then telling Jimbo to jack some points on the board.

I totally agree. The defense played considerably well despite some missed takles and a couple of blown coverages. They just got tired because of our inept offense. Another thing, Randall might have looked good in that first drive but what I see is a more confident offensive unit with Jamarcus in there. The WRs and running backs just seem to have more confidence in Jamarcus. I will say again, though, the defense is not to blame in this one. Give me a KICKER dammit!!
