Protect the lie at all cost... Report: Democrats Refuse to Allow Skeptic to Testify Alongside Gore At Congressional Hearing | Climate Depot There is no climate crisis people. Don't be tools. FOLLOW THE FREAKING MONEY!
Some views from the insignificant people red refuses to listen to... .: U.S. Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works :: Minority Page :.
I agree there is no crisis but there is a climate. Resources are being depleted daily and THAT is following the money. Either way you geaux, Climate crisis or resource degradation, you are still following the money. Recycling has never been better and that proves you can retain resources and still make a buck. If someone can find an efficient, cost effective way to recycle those damn styrofoam peanuts, we would all be a little better off.
Oh it's been debunked....blah, blah, blah. Those guys are kooks.....blah, blah, blah. There is an overwhelming majority consensus.....blah, blah, blah. You are a neo-con....blah, blah, blah. Thinks that about covers it. Good find salty. At least some people are willing to keep looking for an answer.
Please note...I am all about protecting our enviroment. No one gets more pissed when they someone litter than I do. I cherish what I had growing up and want my children and grandchildren to have the opportunity to enjoy it also. I recycle when I can and I am very mindful of my "footprint" on the enviroment. That being said...the manufactured crisis that is being pushed down our throats on a daily basis is crazy. Global warming is a lie.
Some of these dissenters have fine credentials and have published scientifically and they are certainly not ignored. But many of the people on the notorious "700 scientists" list do not have climatology credentials--58% in fact. 51 were TV weathermen, 26 were economists. 650 Climate Skeptics? Sen. Inhofe Lists Creationists as Prominent Scientists in Global Warming Report There have always been dissenters, but remember it is dissent from the majority opinion of climatologists. Those are the experts in climate change. Dissent is good for science, but it must not be confused with consensus. These people are not being stifled. They just have not proved to most of their colleagues that the consensus of expert opinion is wrong. It cannot be ignored that the vast majority of opposition to climate change is political--not scientific.
Ahh, yes another scientific argument. Let's check into old Christopher Monckton, former science advisor to Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, shall we. From Wikipedia: Christopher Walter Monckton, 3rd Viscount Monckton of Brenchley (born 14 February 1952) is a British politician and business consultant, policy advisor, writer, and inventor. He served as an advisor to Margaret Thatcher's policy unit in the 1980s and invented the Eternity puzzle at the end of the 1990s. More recently, he has attracted controversy for his public opposition to the mainstream scientific consensus on global warming. He was educated at Harrow School, Churchill College, Cambridge where he read classics and University College, Cardiff, where he obtained a diploma in journalism. Monckton played a key role in a legal challenge heard in the High Court of Justice in October 2007 in a bid to prevent An Inconvenient Truth from being shown in English schools. [censorship?] The American Physical Society added a disclaimer to the top of Monckton's article stating: "...Its conclusions are in disagreement with the overwhelming opinion of the world scientific community. The Council of the American Physical Society disagrees with this article's conclusions." In a response, Monckton called the APS "red flag" "discourteous" and claimed his paper had been "scientifically reviewed in meticulous detail". Notwithstanding, Arthur Smith, long-time member at the APS Forum, has identified 125 errors, irrelevancies, and contradictions in the article.
What's the point in worrying about something that might affect people a billion years from now. Fuggem. I've got enough to worry about.
