i missed the opening of mnf, it must have been pretty good - to have so many people upset. speaking of pretty good - none of my neighbors are in these actresses neighborhood.
Didn't really think much of it, one way or the other. Not sure it was necessary and maybe not appropriate but that's for others to decide as there are no tender eyes in my house. I do find it interesting that the NFL has reacted so self-righteously. If the NFL is so interested in a wholesome image, it should clean it's own house. :dis:
could someone please explain what happened or provide a link to the video - I missed it, and I keep hearing the last seconds of the story on ESPN SportsCenter
I saw it for the first time on CNN this morning. I thought it was pretty stupid, I'm glad people ripped them on it.
I saw some coverage on another show so here goes.... .....some hottie from the TV program "Desperate Housewives" gets into the locker room as Terrell Owens is about to take the field, of course he's in there alone with her and she makes some suggestive remarks and drops the towel, only thing covering her and you see her embrace T.O. with nothing on. No assets shown, yet pretty racey for the 7pm time slot. MNF capitalizing on a hot show, probably good PR move, but the backlash from the Bush crowd, of which I am one, will be loud and severe.
On the one hand, it's a good marketing move to try to capture some female viewers by using a hot show's character to lead into MNF and associate "soap opera"-style drama with football. On the other hand, I had no idea who that woman was. They've been using Teri Hatcher as the "face" of DH, so, in my opinion, they should have put Hatcher in the promo with TO. Much ado about nothing, I think.
you can watch it here online. http://www.khou.com/topstories/stories/khou041116_jt_111604dnwebmnf.62f0e8b3.html :geaux:
They used Nicollete Sheridan because she's the neighborhood slut in the show, and pretty darn good looking too. But it was keeping "in charcter" to use Sheridan.
