    Oh yeah -
He will get a very loud "suck it" if he does not. From a political standpoint he has to know better. I really do like the man but if he does not invite LSU then there is no way he gets my vote. No way a democrat gets it either, so I would have to avoid the polls.
I know this was discussed some time back, I was just wondering if there was an update to it.

    Good for you dude !

I have lived in Cali for 25 years but sometimes this state is TOO MUCH.

A man's GOT to have priorities. And we gotta got to Mars, and take all the illegal immigrants with us. Oops, don't wanna go on too long or this'll get moved to the political discussion board....

So what you're saying is that you won't vote for him if he doesn't invite LSU?? Seems kinda silly to let something like football (Even if it is LSU) sway your voting like that... Regardless of what candidate you like, you should vote with the best intentions for the country in mind... Not what football team the candidate likes.... No wonder this country is all screwed up....

    Geaux Tigers!

It goes beyond football. If he doesn't recognize the LSU team,
then it's a slight to a neighboring state that supported him overwhelmingly in 2000, in order to curry favor in SoCal, which he's not going to carry anyway.

Someone should remind Mr. Bush that he's got a lot in common w/ LSU in that HE sure didn't like it when his opponent
in 2000 tried to circumvent the system that was in place (sort of the way USC has tried to). Had that hijacking attempt been
successful, it's likely that Mr. Gore would be hosting this
little shindig at the White House.

I will say it again. Although I like GW, as a hard right wing conservative I have not been a huge fan of his domestic policy or as they call it "Companionate Conservatism" or as I call it "Big Government conservatism" I would vote for my dog before I would vote for a Democrat. However, I am on the fence about even showing up to the polls since I dont like ANY of the candidates

If Bush slights LSU, our state and our people. That will be the nail in the coffin for me and Mr. Bush. I think he is genuinely a good guy unlike the trash we had in office before. But so far he has 2 strikes with his big spending, and immigration policy.. Slapping the face of LSU, its fans and the state of Louisiana will make me tune out for a long long time.

Not that it matters I live in Texas now, and he will carry 98 percent of the vote anyway....

I know it may seem silly to pull a vote over a football game. But its an issue of recognizing our state, our people and our university. If he invited No one, then it would be a non issue.
This is bigger then a game.

Do the right thing Mr. Bush....
