    Good for him. I wish the best for him and hope this new gig is successful. Anything that helps bust up the ESPN monopoly is probably good for the fans.

    While I was at McKinley High a year or so after he was fired, my English teacher told us that he was substitute teaching around the BR area. She was planning to go the KY Derby and needed a sub...
    In walks Gerry Dinardo. I don't really remember too much of what we talked about. I know I asked him a question about the defeat of #1 Florida, but I forgot what his response was.
    Goes from Coaching the Tigers to a $60/day substitute teacher, awesome...

    that is really hard to believe. even hallman got a fulltime hs gig.

    Maybe he just wanted to do some subbing. He was sticking around town for a while because of his restaurant, but gave that up. He caught on as HC at Indiana for a while, but they stunk.

    Dinardo was not BAD. He had his shortcomings, but he was a lot more successful here than his predecessor, and recruited the talent that won the SEC in 2001.
