If Jimbo Fisher had the exact same qualifications except he was the offensive coordinator at Georgia or Virginia Tech and somebody suggested him, you would laugh them off the site.

We need the best candidate not the closest one.

 

Wow... didn't know we were hurt THAT bad by Saban departure... crap we had the 4th or 5th best class two weeks ago.

 

Jimbo is not the answer. you wait on a coach this year and we repeat this scenario again next year in regards to recruiting.

get our guy now...one average year of recruiting (small class at that since not a lot of seniors) will not kill the program.

No. Didn't get to see our offense live too much this year did you? I don't care what excuse you have. You don't get to put a product on the field like that and then get offered the Head Coaching position at LSU.

Our D has carried this team, and the offense has done just enough to get by. The offensive playcalling was conservative and predictable, and that comes back to one guy. I have not criticized Jimbo this whole year, but I wanted to list reasons why I think this guy would be a huge mistake.

 

Jimbo is not the answer to our coaching problem, let's see how this plays out before we start jumping from bridges.

But there are two in particular ... from my sources inside LSU FB

LSU's past "Fishing" expeditions (aside from a few) were not very good ... LSU tended to "Settle for less"

When trolling for the "True Hawg", good live Bait (like dirty NCAA rule breakers) are best used.

When the big hawg sees what LSU has turned down ... he'll come strolling in

Some days, even in Paradise, you don't catch the big one ... that's fine.

It's all a matter a timing ... But you never take the small one home ... there's always tomorrow
